Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Hadhrat ‘Abdullah ibn Hisham (Radiyallahu ‘Anhu)
reported that the Sahabah
(Radiyallahu ‘Anhum) would learn the following Dua
for when the new month or
new year would begin:
"O Allah, bring this (month or year) upon us with
security and faith, safety and Islam, and Your pleasure, and protection from
shaytaan."
